BOOK COVER DESIGN - ILLUSTRATION - TYPOGRAPHY
Cautionary Tales for Children is a grim and witty set of comic poems about mischievous children. These haunting yet funny stories offer moral instructions to children with horrible consequences to their actions. Such as the story of Matilda, a young girl who told lies and burned to death, and Henry, who ate so much string he suffocated and died. A century later and these poems are still loved by many.
Here I have designed an interpretation of Hilaire Belloc's book cover, suitable for an adult audience.
